“We are preparing a lottery pavilion and a betting pavilion for FADJA 2015”

(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- 3A Producciones, organizer of the American Games of Chance Event (FADJA), participated in G2E last week. The CEO of the company, José Aníbal Aguirre indicated that one of his goals in Las Vegas was to attract customers and generate new contacts for future editions of FADJA, including next year’s, to take place next April 8-9 in Corferias, Bogota. He also talked about the international seminar SIJUEGO, which is being held in Cartagena.

What were your expectations at G2E? What did you offer exhibitors and visitors?
We are seeking new exhibitors and investors for Colombia, especially with the new positive scenario, thanks to the regulation of new games and the will expressed by the government to regulate online gambling. Those two factors make Colombia not only the most attractive market in the Andean region but also the most important in Latin America.

Additionally, the market needs to replace around 40,000 machines and around 80,000 are in homologation. The government is also planning the implementation of new games to increase the budget allocated to Health. We believe everything I have mentioned contributes to making Colombia an interesting market.

Through the strategic alliance we have with G2E organizers, we attended the show with the aim of attracting new customers and generating new contacts. At the same time, we are staying updated on the novelties of the industry in terms of mergers, in order to be able to capture it in our event.

On top of FADJA, you decided to organize SIJUEGO, the international seminar that started yesterday in Cartagena and will conclude today. What does it mean for you?
For us, it is an honor having been invited by CIBELAE to organize this seminar in Colombia. This event was being organized in different Latin American cities, but in Colombia it adopted the name SIJUEGO and has allowed us to gather, for the first time in Colombian history, all four sectors that comprise the gambling industry.

The proposal consists of training plus networking. SIJUEGO enables the interaction of the localized gambling sectors, casinos and bingos with all the issues related to lotteries, permanent bets, virtual betting and novelty games, with GTECH as a special sponsor. This is the plus we have achieved at this event.

Will SIJUEGO provide feedback on presence of the lottery sector in FADJA?
Of course. For FADJA 2015, we are preparing a lottery pavilion and a betting pavilion. This year we have seen the first opening signs of the local operators towards permanent bets and sportsbooks, something that has never been presented at the show. We had very good results and got great feedback from those casino operators interested in entering the new markets.
