Registration for November's Macao Gaming Show is officially open

The registration’s opening coincides with the launch of the 2014 marketing campaign which aims to build upon the success enjoyed by the inaugural MGS when 8,000 visitors from 11 countries made the journey to what is the world's biggest gambling hub and helped establish MGS as the largest gaming show to ever take placein Macao.

Jay Chun, Chairman of Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association, is delighted by both the volume and the seniority of those who have already registered. He explained: "The research we undertook following the 2013 show suggested that the positive experiences gained from attending Macao Gaming Show were such that the overwhelming majority, some 99% of attendees, said they would return again in 2014. The registration data that we have processed since registration opened, confirms a very high proportion of repeat visitors. Our aim is to increase attendance by adding new first time visitors to this very healthy base whilst maintaining a similar if not higher level of seniority as in 2013 when 83% of visitors were either decision makers or had direct input to purchasing decisions."

He added: "Not only does Macao Gaming Show with its six dedicated sectors comprising gaming equipment and accessories, gaming promoters and VIP clubs, casino fixtures and fittings, promotional services and memorabilia, food and beverage and entertainment and performance, provide a comprehensive window on the entire gaming industry, but it is also the only show that is truly representative of the Asian gaming industry. I am delighted that so many industry decision makers, purchasers and influencers will be joining us at the Venetian Macao in November."
