What novelties did Net Entertainment unveil at the recent ICE show?
We have tended to use the ICE show to launch our latest branded games over the years and 2014 was no different. We announced that Aliens would be the next to join our best-of-breed video slot portfolio.
Branded content is an important part of Net Entertainment’s mission to create better games, but our own intellectual property is the main driving force behind all our slot content. Aliens joins Net Entertainment’s portfolio that already includes Creature from the Black Lagoon, South Park, Scarface and Frankenstein.
Along with Aliens, we exhibited our superb Live Casino product. Our live offering was launched at the start of 2013 and has been a resounding success story. We built a state-of-the-art studio in Malta, which uses the latest technology and we are very proud our achievements reached so far. Live Casino is a key portfolio offering for driving long term sustainable growth together with our partners, and 2014 will be an exciting year for our Live Casino operations.
One product that is creating a huge amount of interest is our unique game within Live Casino, Common Draw Blackjack. Innovation is integral in everything we do and this version of the classic table game allows for tremendous scalability. This enables an unlimited amount of players to simultaneously play without jeopardising the traditional Blackjack experience. Net Entertainment walked away with the prestigious “Innovator of the Year” title at the International Gaming Awards – an achievement which recognises our commitment to innovation not only in Live Casino, but throughout our product portfolio.
ICE visitors were also treated to Net Entertainment Extend, which enables operators to build tailored and completely customised gaming experiences for all players that are triggered by real-time data.
Operators’ development teams can use their creativity to graphically enhance customers’ game play to deliver a bespoke experience, only available in that particular online casino. This enables an operator to truly stand out from the crowd in a more and more saturated market.
Extend has already been added to the most popular games and is another way for partners to grow and hold a competitive edge in a maturing online casino market.
What feedback did you get from visitors and what did you feel about this ICE edition overall?
The feedback was excellent and the 2014 edition of ICE was a resounding success. There were more than 550 exhibitors from 50 countries and attendees from more than 100 countries, so it offers an excellent stage and forum to launch our latest innovative creations.
