(Mexico).- ELA, The Mexican Gaming Exhibition, will be postponed until next year, the organisers announced last week. In a world-wide survey carried out on over 18,000 gaming sector professionals, an overwhelming majority – 89% - expressed a preference to wait until 2015. Only 3% were in favor of the event going ahead this year, with the remaining 8% having no opinion.
The Mexican Parliament is set to debate the regulation of the gaming sector next December, hopefully to clarify the current uncertain situation.
At present, the dates provisionally booked for the show are Wednesday and Thursday 13-14 May 2015. The traditional conferences will also be held within the exhibition.
