VNE to showcase at ENADA Rome

The country’s widest and best quality range  of change machines will be on display. VNE offers the right change machine for every application – from small, secure ones to larger VLT-linked machines. The Viking is the latest VNE change machine boasting even more in-built strength and security. The Viking door, for example, comprises two separate sheets of steel, with reinforced  door hooks.

The Viking can change notes to coins and vice versa. Weighing in at a bulky 150kg,  the machine features the latest CashCode bank note recycler Bill-to-Bill 200 that can dispense up to 200 notes in total (2 denominations, 100 of each). The Viking thus makes use of the best components on the market.
Additionally, VNE will for the first time be exhibiting the change machine the ‘New Compact Change’,  adapted for a new secure slim-line cabinet. The design of the New Compact Change allows it to fit between two slot machines.

Promising to be another new solution for gaming operators is ‘The Locker’. This product is ideal for operators of several slot machines at different locations, particularly in bars. It is a  heavy-duty money-securing device to be used to store cashbox takings. It can be easily wheeled from one slot machine to another, and so is a cash-in-transit security device. Its design and weight mean that it cannot be picked up and removed quickly. The top-quality locking devices ensure that the money remains safe between the different pick-up locations and can only be opened by designated personnel.

VNE has further improved its online service for operators. Today there are five levels of access – between door opening and manual refill. VNE change machines are fitted with a transponder (ibutton) for personnel to attain these access levels that are programmed using the VNE software by dedicated personnel. If required, this access level can be altered securely online (for example if the employee at the change machine needs a higher access level). The latest change machines are fitted as well with a biometric device which is activated by fingerprint.

All accounting and revenue information is now available online. Furthermore, there are a host of security settings. For example, the operator may wish to choose a set minimum level for the coin hoppers to ensure the change machine has the right capacity for change. Should the number of coins fall below the set level, the operator is then automatically informed. Thus, more and more intelligence is being packaged into the VNE change machine, making the operators’ lives more manageable.
