(US).- Scientific Games announced the signing of a five-year instant ticket and cooperative services supply contract with the South Carolina Education Lottery. The new deal comes less than two weeks after the firm inked a one-year agreement to provide the Oklahoma Lottery with a range of services including terminals and state-wide communication technology.

This latest deal, which is scheduled to begin from October, was awarded following a competitive procurement process and will see Scientific Games provide the South Carolina Education Lottery with game design and development services along with ‘manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and marketing assistance for instant lottery games’.

“We want to thank the South Carolina Education Lottery for its selection of Scientific Games as its primary supplier for instant game products and distribution services,” said Jim Kennedy, Printed Products President and Chief Marketing Officer for Scientific Games.

“The South Carolina Education Lottery is one of the most successful lotteries in the United States and we are honoured to be selected once again as the partner to help it continue building a strong instant game offering that helps fund education and supports a valued retail community. The management and staff at the South Carolina Education Lottery are consummate professionals and we are proud to be associated with a world-class organisation.”

The deal will also see Scientific Game provide the South Carolina Education Lottery with ‘inventory management and related services’ and includes a two-year extension option.

“We have had a long and successful partnership with Scientific Games dating back to the inception of the South Carolina Education Lottery,” said Paula Harper Bethea, Executive Director for the South Carolina Education Lottery.

“We have a great working relationship with the Scientific Games team and we were very impressed with their response to our request for proposal. We are looking forward to continuing to work with it to raise funds to support education in South Carolina,” she concluded.
