NFL analyst to speak at Bally’s Systems User Conference 10

(US).- Bally Technologies announced that FOX NFL Sunday analyst and former Oakland Raider defensive end Howie Long will be the keynote speaker at its Systems User Conference 10, which will be held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, June 4-6. He joined the Los Angeles Raiders as a second-round draft choice in 1981.

Long joined the Los Angeles Raiders as a second-round draft choice in 1981. He spent his entire 13-year NFL career with the Raiders and is regarded as one of the best defensive lineman to play the game. Long helped the Raiders to a Super Bowl XVIII win by posting a career-best 13 sacks and registering five Super Bowl tackles. He was voted by fans as the1984 and 1986 Defensive Lineman of the Year and was named 1984 NFL Defensive Lineman of the Year by the NFL Alumni Association. Long also holds the AFC Pro Bowl record with nine-and-a-half career sacks. In 2000, Long was inducted into the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame. 

The celebrated athlete began his network sports television career in 1994 as an NFL studio analyst for Fox NFL Sunday and is considered one of the top NFL analysts. He received an Emmy Award for his work last season as Outstanding Sports Personality/Analyst. Long co-starred in the 1995 action-adventure film, Broken Arrow, starring John Travolta and Christian Slater; and starred in the 1998 motion picture Firestorm.

Long will deliver the keynote address at 6:30 p.m. EDT on June 5.
