What novelties did you present in FADJA?
We accompany our distributor William Huamani, owner of Gatel, who presented the new Aristocrat platform for this region: Viridian/Gen7. We also exhibited a series of games, most of them in Spanish. Many of these titles that have already been proven in countries like Panama, Peru, Argentina and Uruguay and have achieved very satisfactory results for us, and specially for operators. We trust a lot in those products and in our distributor. That’s why we came to support the show.
Which is the balance of the event?
Fantastic. We had many visits, not only from local operators but also from Peru and Panama. With regards to the local market, usual operators assisted, who are always searching for the latest novelties in technology and games. The balance was very positive both for Gatel as distributor and for us, who helped indirectly.
How important is Colombia for Aristocrat?
We have much market penetration in Panama, Peru, Chile and Argentina. It remained Colombia, a country in which we have been working for years, obtaining good results, but very slowly. We now want to bring a big boost to this market so people can see again in Aristocrat the equipments they have ever looked for.
Which is the strategy to achieve it?
We have decided to count with a distributor in Colombia to work with us and with the customers in a direct way in order to bring the best solutions. Our aim is that our games are present in preponderant places where they can show their qualities.
To what other events will you assist this year?
We will support our distributor in Peru, I think we will sponsor the Panamanian event and, obviously, we will go to G2E Las Vegas and SAGSE Buenos Aires.
