(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Gina Lanphear, Cadillac Jack Sr. Director, Marketing & Communications, talked about the challenging economic environment that the gaming industry had to face, and commented about the performance of the products that the firm presented this year, as well as about the projects and perspectives for 2012.

What is the balance of this 2011?
Although 2011 was another challenging economic environment, we were able to successfully navigate the obstacles placed in front of us, achieve our goals and still produce strong results for the company.  During this past year, we expanded the Cadillac Jack portfolio with a number of exciting new product lines, new game engines and new multi-level progressives.  The performance of our next generation cabinet, Genesis, has been very good and has allowed our game development team to develop new games with more depth, features and entertainment for the players than before.

How was the general gaming industry in a year with an economic crisis that affected many markets?
Clearly, the continued economic crisis has been difficult for the gaming industry as a whole and many of our customers continue to have budget constraints.   However, we have seen renewed commitments to growth from many of our customers this year and for 2012.

In your opinion, what was the most innovative product or service launched this year?
In addition to many new products and new features, we enhanced our communications with customers and players by successfully leveraging the power and reach of social media for major product announcements such as our new multi-level progressives, which have added a whole new level of entertainment to Cadillac Cash, our wide area progressive product.

This past year, we also partnered with MicroStrategy, a world leader in business intelligence to develop a best-in-industry mobile and internet based solution to ensure that our customers receive maximum profitability on their floors and optimal utilization and management of the Cadillac Jack product portfolio.

What are the company's plans for 2012?
While 2012 still carries challenges and uncertainty, we are excited for the future as we expand our brand into new commercial, tribal and VLT markets in the US.  Our objective continues to be one of product innovation, enriched player experience, and attraction and retention of players.  The New Year will also see the introduction of a new gaming engine which will allow us to rapidly and efficiently expand our product library with feature rich innovations and player engaging interaction.  In 2012, our product portfolio will include a broader library of products with game features that have generated significant player interest – Connect to Win natural pay lines, player controlled volatility at the game, ante bets, expanding wilds and scatters, and a wheel bonus.  In addition, towards the end of the year we will also unveil a next generation game cabinet.

How do you see 2012 for the gaming industry in general? Will it be similar to 2011? Do you think that we will see a growth in the activity?
We believe that 2012 brings a great deal of momentum for the industry and will be the year that Cadillac Jack, along with a few other medium-sized slot manufacturers recognized for their innovative and high performing products, will move forward and capture a larger market share in the industry.
