What balance can you make of 2011?
Our balance for 2011 is absolutely positive. During 2009 and 2010 we faced several investments on both our products and our commercial strategy, the result of this has been immediately perceived by our customers that could appreciate the high quality level we reached with our new releases.
2011 has been the year in which we lived a deep growth not only in the territories where we already are established. Our product portfolio has been totally refreshed and the brilliant performance we registered during this year has been the confirmation that our choices have been successful. We are very happy to have extended our business relations in new markets such as Central America, Africa and several new areas in Europe. We worked hard to lay the foundations for a brilliant and profitable 2012.
How did you see the gaming industry in general in a year with an economic crisis that affected several international markets?
The effects that the economic downturn caused to the market is for sure the increasing of competition not only in terms of commercial strategies but also in terms of technological developments.
Magic Dreams reaction is clear. We worked and we are working hard in order to offer always state-of-the-art products, investing first of all on developing the latest in innovation. Our aim is to provide solutions that make the difference on the slot floor by offering a unique and exclusive gaming experience never seen and lived before.
What makes Magic Dreams different from the others is that we are a very close team, this means that everything is shared, decided and done rapidly. When our customers ask for a solution, we react quickly giving them costs and development timing that are extremely competitive in comparison with the ones from other manufacturers. Flexibility not only in terms of immediate reaction but also in terms of product configuration is our main strength and it is also the winning formula that drives our decisions and our strategies.
Which has been, in your opinion, the most remarkable novelty this year?
During 2011, Magic Dreams has deeply changed its internal organization thanks to the entrance of several new members that have brought great professionalism and expertise. First of all at the end of 2010 Solange Suton joined our the Latin America Sales team in order to empower and boost our business in Argentina.
At the beginning of 2011, Jaime Bonet and Roberto Cian were welcomed into the company as respectively EMEA Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Moreover during this year Magic Dreams strengthened the R&D department in order to increase the company’s competitive level.
The important added value introduced boosted, as a matter of fact, the growth of the company during this year. We are confident that this important synergy will bring positive effects in the future.
Which has been the most innovative product or service launched this year?
Innovation is absolutely the most important value of the industry. For what regards our product portfolio, we have been very proud to celebrate the launch of our High Voltage Series.
High Voltage is a cutting-edge Stand Alone Progressive Jackpot Series that can boast a unique and absolutely innovative concept. It offers a range of games featured by 6 Jackpot levels. 5 Levels are game related while the dazzling Top Level High Voltage is common for all the games. The Top Level High Voltage can be linked with all the machines of the Series with the aim to create an impressive attention-grabber area on the slot floor.
Which are the plans of the company for 2012?
We dedicated the past two years for consolidating our presence in the territories where we were established. Our market share in these territories has grown progressively during these years thanks to the introductions of high performing products.
Now we are strongly looking forward the new year, as said above, we have worked hard to lay the foundations for a great territorial expansion. We are focusing in expanding in Latin America, Africa and South East Asia. For what regards Europe, we consider this area as an extremely challenging territory, for this reason we are dedicating specific resources for boosting the growth in this market.
Our winning formula is to introduce innovative and revenue generating products with the aim to be recognised as a leading Group which takes the customer need as its own priority. We are very proud of our new releases as the technological enhancement we reached has been exceptional. We have also to say that the excellent performance registered during the year are, for us, the perfect business card for our customers.
How do you see 2012 for the gaming industry in general? Will it be similar to 2011? Do you think there will be a growth in the activity?
It’s hard to predict how the global market will develop next year since the economic panorama is still living an hard period, especially in Europe. Anyway, we can expect that the territories with the highest potential, like South East Asia, will continue their growth.
