Copag announces first playing cards supply for Global Poker Tours events

The agreement runs through 2013 and builds upon the existing relationship, under which Copag earlier this year became the official equipment sponsor of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) for Seasons 4 and 5, as well as the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and Brazilian Poker Tour for 2011 and 2012.

The new expanded sponsorship agreement means that Copag will supply GPTL with the tournament playing cards, as well as marketing and promotional cards, on the following PokerStars-sponsored live tours and events:

Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) – Seasons 5-7
Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) – Seasons 3-5
Belgium Poker Series (BPS) – Seasons 1-3
Estrellas Poker Tour – Seasons 3-4
Eureka Poker Tour – Seasons 1-3
France Poker Series (FPS) – Seasons 2-3
Macau Poker Cup, and Macau Millions at the PokerStars Macau poker room
Russian Poker Series (RPS) – Seasons 2-4
UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) – Seasons 3-4
The 8th Annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA)

The ANZPT Season 3 will be the first live tour which players will have the experience of playing with Copag cards, in two different events: Melbourne (September 24-26, 2011) and Darwin (October 4-8, 2011), Australia.

Besides ANZPT, the other events already scheduled are RPS Kiev Grand Final (December 10-16, 2011), APPT Macau (November 23-27, 2011), FPS Sunfest Mazagan (December 1-4, 2011) that is part of France Poker Series calendar, as soon as the LAPT and BPT coming events.
