IGT Systems Global Users Conference offers lineup of thought leaders

Named one of the "10 New Gurus You Should Know" by Fortune magazine, Fogg will offer attendees a unique perspective and new ideas on using technology to identify, influence and motivate players.

With a sharp focus on getting quickly to "the stuff that matters to you," IGT will offer more than 25 breakout sessions across six conference tracks: Player Marketing, Casino IT, Casino Operations: What's New, Casinolink: What's New, sbX(TM) Implementation and Technical Training. Attendees can expect action-oriented training and strategy discussions on IGT's current casino management, business intelligence and server-based solutions presented by IGT product managers, trainers and engineers, as well as IGT customers and business partners.

Patti Hart, IGT president and CEO, will be on hand to extend a personal welcome to attendees and kick off the conference on Wednesday, June 29, followed by remarks from Eric Tom, IGT COO, and Richard Yim, vice president of systems products. Satchell will take the stage to conclude opening-day activities with a provocative keynote presentation addressing the tremendous opportunities before the industry as systems focus on differentiated incremental value, as well as how this focus intersects with IGT's systems strategy.

Fogg joins the conference for a keynote session on Thursday, June 30. Trained as an experimental psychologist, Fogg directs research and design at Stanford University's Persuasive Technology Lab and holds seven patents for his innovations in user interface design. Outside the university, Fogg leads workshops for business leaders and entrepreneurs interested in designing experiences that influence behavior. In this engaging keynote session, attendees will be treated to new ideas about identifying, cultivating and motivating customers.

Demo Lounge will make a return appearance at the 2011 event. Featuring the newest systems products, the Demo Lounge enables attendees to learn through hands-on demonstrations with product experts.
