What do you highlight of the participation of JCM in FADJA? How do you evaluate the 2011 edition of the show?
Without a doubt, the show had a smaller area and missed some major companies. But I think in general it was positive, at least for us was much more positive than expected. All the visitors belonged to the industry, which optimize the time available. We received many people wanting to see the new options of JCM.
How did the Latin American audience respond to the new validator iVIZION?
We had very interesting presentations, and the response was most positive. We received visits from clients not only from Colombia, but from several Latin American countries seeking to know the iVIZION. There are great expectations with this unit. Undoubtedly, JCM has once again taken an exceptional product. iVIZION has already been presented in Argentina, and now Colombia with great success. In the coming months, we will be presenting it in another Latin American countries.
From what you could perceive in the show, do you think that South American market has gotten out of the effects of the global economic crisis?
Latin America felt a the global crisis more than a year ago, not falling into recession, but decreasing levels of growth. We believe these growth rates have not only rebounded but are reaching levels of overheating of the economy, causing unwanted inflation. For the first time in history, Latin America is one of the major centers of attraction for international investors. So if there is a lack of investment in certain countries and/or in some industries, is not for lack of investors but because the conditions are not the best for it. The example is Colombia, in the gambling market, it is very clear. The rules are not clear. There is still uncertainty in the market, so investment levels are not expected from a such promising market.
What are the plans for the coming months for JCM?
We’ll be focused on the presentation of iVIZION in all Latin American markets, as well as launching a number of additional products. We are changing the entire line of products, always with cutting-edge technologies, seeking to lead the market and responding to the needs of our customers. We also keep on working on technical support and service to our customers increasingly looking to be closer, providing them the support they deserve.
