Have you launched new products in FADJA 2011?

We introduced our progressive system 3G 100% electronic. This system does not require any type of chips to bet on the progressive. It gives the casino the advantage of not having to manage an inventory of low-value cards or exclusive to the progressive. Re bet mode also allows an optimal speed of the game.

How did the public respond?

The response from visitors was very positive. They could see the modern and progressive aesthetic of our 3G system.

How do you evaluate FADJA 2011?

As always, FADJA is a great business opportunity for all companies engaged in the business of casinos.

How do you see the Colombian industry?

Contrary to what happens in other countries in the region, Dek has little presence in Colombia. With FADJA, we hope to capture the interest of local casino operators.

Which are its most important markets in Latin America for the company?

Our presence in Latin America is strong and stable in countries such as Chile, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Panama, Ecuador and Peru. In recent months, our presence in Chile became stronger thanks to projects developed with the groups Enjoy, Latin Gaming and Dreams.

What can you tell us about the Severn Project? What is the status?

The Severn Project is not over for DEK International. It is concluded for Deq Systems Society of Canada. Dek International remains the majority shareholder of Severn, and currently operates five casinos in Guatemala.

What are the plans for the coming months Dek?

The coming months will be busy. We will be at ELA 2011 (Mexico) in May. There, International Dek will attend along with Sabia Corporation’s stand, where in addition to our known products such as the Progressive 3G, we’ll exhibit the Gemaco products, a brand on which Dek has national representation. Moreover, with the recent opening of table games live in Mexico, International Dek decided to open offices in this country to better serve its customers.
