GLI Latin American Development Manager Karen Sierra-Hughes said, “The gaming industry and the technology that drives it are evolving rapidly, and it is absolutely vital for regulators to stay ahead of the technology learning curve. That is the purpose of GLI University and of the Roundtable – to help regulators be aware of and understand new technologies and their potential impact on each regulator’s individual jurisdiction.”

Attendees will learn the latest information on a wide range of topics affecting the modern gaming industry, presented by a collection of the industry’s leading experts and GLI staff, and a special session on money laundering will be presented by a representative from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Other subjects include iGaming, lotteries, network security and the role of the lab.

The event is part of the company’s GLI University, a program that offers continuing education and training to regulators around the world. The Roundtable is a one-of-a-kind event in the gaming industry, where regulators from diverse jurisdictions gather to learn about the latest technological developments and their potential regulatory impact, and to openly discuss regulations with one another in a private setting. Last year’s event drew more than 50 regulators from across South America.

GLI offers the conference to regulators free of charge, and registration is required. Conference registration is available now at www.gaminglabs.com/events.
