TCS John Huxley chosen to supply Greek casinos with its gaming equipment

Built on the beach in Loutraki, with spectacular views of the Corinthian Gulf, Club Hotel Casino Loutraki Resort & Casino has always been a popular destination. This area of Greece is renowned for its thermal spa and natural mineral water and blessed with a back drop of the imposing 'Gerania Mountain'.

This luxury casino resort originally opened in 1995 and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme. The 5000 sqm casino boasts one of the largest gaming areas in Europe and includes 80 gaming tables and 1000 slot machines. TCS John Huxley has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the casino and was chosen once again to supply all the gaming equipment in the latest refurbishment project.

This gave the casino the opportunity to upgrade equipment, but more importantly they were able to install the world-renowned electronic multi-player, Novo TouchBet Roulette, as it has recently been granted approval by the Greek Gaming Commission. Initially the casino took delivery of 20 terminals with an autowheel at the end of 2009, however the game proved so popular with players making an impressive ROI in 7 weeks, that the casino ordered a further 30 Terminals soon after.

In addition to a range of new tables and 28 roulette wheels, the casino decided to replace all 34 Chipper 2000 machines with the latest generation Chipper Champ 2.

Another important part of the installation saw the casino take delivery of 28 double-sided e-FX Insignia displays. One of the largest installations since its launch, the casino were initially drawn to the displays as they feature the popular 'tall profile case format', normally associated with LED screens, allowing ultra-bright, high-impact animations which attract and retain player attention throughout the casino.

In addition to the eye-catching gaming results and game history data, the cutting edge graphics and multimedia present an extensive range of promotional messages, which can be customised to display as whole screen, split screen, with or without ticker tape.

Devi Kerr, Table Game Director comments, "I must say I was a little apprehensive before the installation, as we have had no problems at all with the old Huxley LED displays which have been operating well since the casino opening 15 years ago. I am delighted with the new e-FX Insignia displays and more importantly so are our customers. They are a simple to use and very effective marketing tool, not just a winning number display!"

The legislation changes in Greece regarding the approval of Novo TouchBet Roulette, also saw a further two iconic casinos take delivery of the system.

TCS John Huxley supplied and installed a 24 Terminal Novo TouchBet Roulette system with Auto wheels into Regency Casino Thessaloniki and a 30 Terminal system with Auto wheel into Regency Monte Parnes.

Regency Monte Parnes also took delivery of 22 MK VII Roulette Wheels and 28 double-sided e-FX Insignia displays, which were installed at the same time as the wheels and display at Loutraki.
