“It is clear that the competence in Colombia is very hard. However, Magic Dreams is preparing itself to face this”, indicated María Laura García Casasola, general manager of the company for Latin America, to Yogonet.com. “We have been in Colombia for a long time, and we have taken a step forward with the new products thanks to the Xtend platform. That’s why we are implementing a new commercial strategy in this country”, explained García Casasola.
The executive pointed that many South American territories are very attractive and that they plan to increase their presence in the countries in which they are already installed. “With this in mind, we can say that Latin America is one of our priorities”, she commented.
Other goals of Magic Dreams consist of increasing its market share in Mexico and to enter in Peru, Chile and Ecuador. “With this aim, we feel more inclined to sign an association for the distribution of our products, which will give us the chance to have a good market presence,” she added.
After the global economic crisis during 2009, the firm reacted with very strong investments, of which they expect to see the effects during this year. “We understood that, if we did not invest in development and technology, we would find it difficult to overcome this period”, indicated García Casasola, who also remarked that they have ventured in a new product category with Magic Roulette video-roulette. The first installation was held at Bingo Golden Jack in Quilmes.
The company will present its whole range of novelties for the Latin American market in SAGSE Buenos Aires, in a stand that will be bigger than the one in the previous edition. “Being in the largest South American event is the base of a good commercial strategy,” she assured.
