Atronic installed Magic Casinos Jackpot across 100 casinos in France

Magic Casinos Jackpot was officially launched on September 18, 2009. The jackpot generates enormous excitement, because a small bet can pay big: players wager a minimum of 3 credits of 0.50 euros (for a total of 1.5 euros) to qualify for a jackpot of several million Euros.

In an unprecedented partnership more than half the casinos in France have joined together to offer the country´s first truly national progressive jackpot, connecting a total of 331 slot machines across 100 casinos. The joint venture includes 5 of the largest casino groups and 19 independent casinos which are being represented by the Groupe d'intérêt économique (GIE).

Atronic’s Systems Division has provided the network for the jackpot and also acts as its operator. In a very short timeframe the firm managed to successfully install the systems solution for the jackpot in all 100 venues and all parties involved have been very satisfied with the services provided.

Atronic also administrates the Jackpot which is subject to very strict regulations. The jackpot administration includes daily meter reconciliation against system participation, hit management and regulatory reporting. All 100 casinos are using the same integrated application for accounting, reconciliation and reporting. On the technical side, the network and server architecture were designed with several backup protections to ensure continued operation.
