Which are the equipments that Atronic decided to present on the current FADJA edition for the Colombian public and the Andean region in general?
For this event we have brought Stargate, the product we introduced in recent Las Vegas event, which was also shown in London, but with release to sell in Latin America from this show. Stargate is based in the TV series and was performed together with Universal. We have also brought the new cabinet E-Motion Slant Top, with the latest E-Motion titles, released in IGE, London. We are also presenting Harmony Stand Alonemachines, with the new Harmony titles, and we are currently preparing the release of "Deal or not Deal-The Experience" in Peru and the future release of "The Three Stooges" for Latin America.
How is the international crisis is having influence on the performance, both of the company and the operators, with whom you have a constant contact?
With regards to the Latin American region, Las Vegas and London event, felt a lot the impact of the international situation, due to an issue of restriction between operators and a lower assistance of everyday customers to these two so important shows. However, Latin America has always been considered for its capacity to face all kind of scenarios
And I believe that the current situation was reflected in FADJA, where there was a lot of enthusiasm by operators.
I am glad that, unlike previous years, this event has consolidated even more. I think there are two important events in Latin America: one is FADJA, which, from this year, I consider has been consolidated with regards to the Andean and Central American market, and SAGSE Buenos Aires, in all Mercosur and Chile.
In this opportunity, we have seen that there are customers that came from Puerto Rico for the first time; we had customers from Dominican Republic, from Central America, which indicates that this event is growing. We had complied with our expectations, we have exceeded our goals and we are very happy with the feedback of the public with regards of our new products.
Have you taken any kind of measure or new business policies, considering a possible recession in the sector?
Of course, all the companies have taken measures and several regulations in a corporate level, which is also our case. But we have continued to liberalize and see all the opportunities in general, and try to find creative business solutions, because, on top of the fact that there are measures taken at a corporate level, there are also needs at a market level that has to be attended.
We have tried to move in the scenario as a company, according to the market possibilities, and I think we have achieved to reach the operators' needs in a special moment, as the one we are living nowadays.
Will the firm present great releases for the region?
With regards to Deal or Not Deal in Peru, it is planned for the second week of May, and then we have also planned the Three Stooges, which will be released together with the remake of the series, in a film that will count with Sean Penn and which will be a real boom.
The product is excellent, we are very confident, because we are planning the date for the Latin American release, but I think it will be a product that will be very successful. After that, we will release it in Peru. There, we need the homologations, as it is the case of Panama and Chile, so we usually launch products in markets that do not have this initial restriction and we invite regional customers to visit us. Finally, we also have an activity prepared for Venezuela, which I calculate will take place in the following three months, a new cabinet that we will release specifically for that market.
