Colombian FADJA trade show inaugurates today a new edition

"The Andean Games of Chance Event has achieved a place of privilege as one of the best positioned and productive in the Latin American industry and this year it won't be the exception, because it confirms its 20% growth," commented the organizers.

In FADJA 2009 there will be latest generation slots, bill validators, roulettes, accessories, security equipments and a myriad of products and services.

José Aníbal Aguirre, General Manager of 3A Producciones and Director of FADJA said: "No doubt the international gaming industry has chosen our event to do releases and present its new products in Latin America, which make us feel very pleased and proud. On the other hand, the season in which the event is usually performed to analyze the developments of the year and plan the growth of the markets in the medium term."

3A Producciones achieved important agreements. One of them is with Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which will participate once more in the Andean Games of Chance Event as exhibitor, as FADJA will do, for third year in a row, in Las Vegas event, to be held next November.

Within the event, it will be held the III International Gaming Congress, (CIJUEGO), organized by ETESA, FECEAZAR, FEDELCO and FECOLJUEGOS, an academic proposal created by the Andean Games of Chance Event, with the aim to facilitate a space of communication that focuses in the legal frame that runs the sector in Colombia.
 
Among the relevant issues that are part of the topics to treat, there are the interest of the National Government to modify Law 643 that, since 2001, rules the games of chance industry, based in the need to modernize the norm, to adequate it to the technological improvements demanded by the market and re-distribute the transferences received by departments and councils for the health sector in the Colombian territory.

Another fundamental topic of CIJUEGO is Decree 1905 of May 2008, which establishes the legal demand of the online and real time operation, interconnected with ETESA, previous homologation and certification of the gaming instruments. The decree also defines the minimum of machines per gambling venue according to the number of people in the councils.

Promoters of this congress have already confirmed the assistance of 500 delegates. Baltazar Medina, President of FECEAZAR, showed his commitment and enthusiasm with the initiative, and anticipated a superior assistance than last year.
