Harrah's reported revenues of us$ 10.1 billion and MGM us$ 7.2 billion

Harrah's and MGM Mirage make Fortune 500 list

The company also reported largest annual profit, earning us$ 45.2 billion. Wal-Mart, which has held the top spot for six years, fell to Number 2 with revenues of us$ 405.6 billion, up 7 %. Harrah's came in at Number 263 on the Fortune list, with revenues of us$ 10.1 billion. That's down from last year when was Number 244 on the list with us$ 10.8 billion in revenues.

MGM Mirage reported us$ 7.2 billion in revenues and was Number 344 on the list. MGM fell from Number 323 on Fortune's 2008 list with us$ 7.8 billion in revenues.
Las Vegas Sands just missed making the Fortune 500 list, coming in at Number 519 with us$ 4.4 billion in revenues. It moved up on this year's list from Number 681 last year when it had us$ 2.9 billion in revenues.

Other Nevada companies on Fortune's Top 1000 list were NV Energy, Number 608 with us$ 3.5 billion in revenues; Wynn Resorts, Number 691 with us$ 3 billion in revenues; IGT, Number 771 with us$ 2.5 billion in revenues; Southwest Gas, Number 867 with us$ 2.1 billion in revenues; Americo, Number 889 with us$ 2 billion in revenues; and Boyd Gaming, Number 967, with us$ 1.8 billion in revenues.

Wynn Resorts was Number 731on last year's list, with us$ 2.7 billion in revenues. IGT had us$ 2.6 billion in revenues last year and was Number 748 on the Fortune 1000 list. Southwest Gas fell from Number 851 with us$ 2.2 billion; Americo dropped from Number 873 with us$ 2.1 billion in revenues; and Boyd dropped from Number 898 last year with revenues of us$ 2 billion.
