From Sunday April 12th 2009, w1nners started offering four fixed betting points in the Palcas zone in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, home of popular Spanish football club Real Madrid. Customers will be offered up to 13 different types of bets before the start of each match, and a variety of live bets during the course of the match.
The launch is part of a long term strategy by w1nners to open 120 betting shops in the Madrid region over the next 4 years, including the company's own betting shops, as well as betting corners and additional betting points in stadiums and sports pavilions. Betbull bwin Espana secured a retail betting license in the province of Madrid last September.
w1nners added that its betting corner is now operational in the Diversia shopping centre in Alcobendas, Madrid, with three more scheduled to open in May. The company plans to have a total of 12 betting shops and corners operational in the Madrid region during 2009.
