LAPT Pokerstars second season will be held in Mantra Punta del Este

The organizers of the most prestigious Latin American poker tour expect a record number of assistants to the following event in Punta del Este. It is estimated that more than 300 players will assist to the event that has a participation fee (buy in) of us$ 3,500 + 200.

Punta del Este was the most popular place for poker players in the tour of the first season, last year. In this opportunity, 351 players were presented and it had an accumulated prize of us$ 851,175. José Miguel Espinar won this competence and he left the event with us$ 241,735.

So far, the interest of poker professionals in Punta del Este event seems to be as big as last year. Members of PokerStars Pro team, Alexandre Gomes, André Akkari and Humberto Brenes, as well as Argentine players sponsored by Pokerstars.net, Verónica Dabul and Leo Fernández, have already confirmed their participation in the event.

Players will be able to achieve a place in the event through daily satellite tournaments of online or live qualification by open satellites the previous night to the main event from 21,30 up to 01 a.m..
