Last January 5th, the operating society informed SCJ that it was able to start operating, and last February 3th, the SCJ made 40 observations that had to be solved before March 5th.
According to the control made by SCJ, the entity determined Tuesday that Dreams Valdivia will be able to open its doors to the public next Friday. The rest of the developments of the integral project of Valdivia will continue their construction up to March 14th, 2009, which consider a five-star hotel, a convention center, a business center; spa, gymnasium, heated swimming pool and disco.
Casino Dreams Valdivia (Fischer) is the eleventh casino regulated and controlled by SCJ that will start operating. So far, the 10 new casinos that are currently operating are the ones in: Antofagasta, Copiapó, Santa Cruz, Mostazal, Talca, Pinto (Termas de Chillán), Talcahuano, Los Ángeles, Temuco and Osorno.
The total project involves a total investment of us$ 49.3 million, and the generation of 392 permanent direct employments. The new casino will have 380 slots, 28 table games and 200 bingo positions, on top of a bar and a restaurant. Dreams Valdivia will operate from Sundays to Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 5ª.m.and Fridays and Saturdays from 10a.m. until 6 a.m.
