PRD was sent to commissions for its analysis and further vote, because it has not been passed as an urgent resolution. It “demands the Government Secretary not to continue granting licenses for the opening of new centers dedicated to remote betting or any kind of game of chance that involves betting activities.”
Legislator Octavio Martínez Vargas, from the Party of the Democratic Revolution (the second most important in the country), said that no more licenses that contravene the Games and Draws Law in force should be granted.
“Until the Supreme Court of Justice issues the statement on the constitutional controversy presented by the House of Legislators of the Union Congress,” Martinez Vargas added.
