"EDP Presents: All the Crises, All the Time" is an essential leadership course to answer the toughest questions and find solutions to the unthinkable challenges faced in executive-level careers in the gaming industry -- including pandemics, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and other acts of force majeure.

Happening November 15 - 21, 2020 and entitled "EDP Presents: All the Crises, All the Time," UNLV International Gaming Institute (IGI) and UNR College of Business and Extended Studies will offer an essential leadership course to answer the toughest questions and find solutions to the unthinkable challenges faced in executive-level careers.

The thought leaders behind the original Executive Development Program (EDP) – the world’s most esteemed leadership "boot camp" for rising star executives in the casino industry – have pivoted their approach to executive education this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, in what would have been the 30th anniversary of the traditional EDP, UNLV IGI and UNR have adapted to current events by offering an entirely online, spinoff EDP experience to better support their colleagues in the gaming industry. To make the program open to as many as possible, EDP Presents: All the Crises, All the Time is offered at a significantly reduced price point and is open to both EDP alumni and newcomers.

EDP Presents offers the same level of rigor and the same quality standards as the traditional program, but in the spirit of 2020, delivers actionable expertise in crisis management in its many forms: pandemics, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and other acts of force majeure.

"This ‘special edition’ of EDP emerged from brainstorms from our best champions: our EDPalums," says Bo Bernhard, Executive Director, UNLV International Gaming Institute and EDP Moderator. "They noted that while it is easy to say ‘nobody could have anticipated this pandemic,’ in reality it is our job as leaders to prepare for the unexpected. We can promise that attendees will graduate from EDP prepared for all crises imaginable – and some they would never have imagined."

Bernhard is joined in leading the program by renowned industry thought leaders and mentors to the inaugural EDP Presents class: Alan Feldman, Senior Advisor, MGM Resorts International; Distinguished Fellow, UNLV International Gaming Institute, and Holly Gagnon, President, HGC Hospitality Gaming Consulting; Distinguished Fellow, UNLV International Gaming Institute.

"I fell in love with EDP from the moment I first arrived," said longtime industry CEO Holly Gagnon, "and I jumped at the chance to share my experiences leading gaming organizations and help contribute to the unique culture it has created, and the culture it infuses in its attendees, who go on to lead the world of gaming."
