The company has pledged to 'show how it is shaping the future of payment systems in the Spanish gaming industry' at the Feria Internacional del Juego that will take place in Madrid on April 9-10.

At Feria Internacional del Juego, Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) will introduce the SCR Advance banknote recycler to the Spanish market. SCR Advance features the same acceptor head and 600-note cashbox as the SC Advance banknote validator, and its two 60-note recycling drums provide the right capacity to meet the needs of diverse non-TITO applications – all within a compact footprint. SCR Advance already offers fast transaction speeds, tight security against frauds and low jam rates. For maximum protection, it also features a removable anti-stringing module, lockable transport doors, entrance/exit sensors, and "door open" detection that ensures an accurate count of cash stored on the recyclers even when SCR Advance is in a powered down state.

"It is an excellent time to introduce the SCR Advance to the Spanish market," said Anette Jauch, CPI sales director for EMEA Gaming. "We see a definite trend for investment in higher-end solutions in the AWP market. The increased ROI warrants this. We are observing different time frames for this shift in Europe. German arcade operators have been enjoying the benefits of high-end banknote recyclers for some years now. The UK street market is now embracing this technology, and Spain is on the verge of moving in this direction as well. Operators recognize the long-term benefits of higher customer satisfaction, increased machine uptime, and fewer problems associated with fraud when banknote recyclers are used as part of a total cash management solution."

The ticketing segment is also undergoing a transition of technology. TITO has become a standard for casinos around the world and is gaining a stronger foothold in the arcade sector. AWP gaming operators also appreciate the advantages and savings that TITO can bring. As cashless payment increases, there is an issue that needs to be solved – the ability of players who prefer cashless and don’t carry enough cash with them to access a ticket. CPI Ticket Purchasing Kiosk is fitted with the CPI eChoice reader and the TransAct Epic 950 fanfold ticket printer.

Another premiere for Spain will be the introduction of Easitrax Connect – a software powerhouse that collates performance and transaction data from the gaming machine in real time – thus giving operators immediate access to valuable business insights. Operators can access the Easitrax Connect dashboard to get a live look at how each of their games and bill validators is performing, how much money is tied up in each cashbox, and whether any of their machines may soon require service. They can even receive instant alerts for issues that require more immediate attention – like when a cashbox fills close to capacity, or when someone attempts to use a suspicious banknote.

"The gaming industry is a technology business. The market is continually evolving and we strongly believe that thoughtfully designed and forward-thinking payment systems and software will become a necessity for the continued success of our industry. Please come and see us at Feria Internacional del Juego to find out just how," concluded Ms. Jauch.

CPI will be exhibiting together with TransAct at stand number #A7.
