To promote the launch of Coral Vegas, Gala Coral this week launches a three month long multi-channel advertising campaign devised by Newcastle creative agency Cravens, in conjunction with Moving Picture Company.

T

he adverts were produced and developed by Cravens who enlisted the creative talents of Moving Picture Company (MPC), renowned for creating the regal Shere Khan in the film, The Jungle Book.

MPC created an animated character designed to represent all of the dynamic aspects of Coral’s new gaming app - its fast and easy navigation with the best omni-channel casino games range available. The result was the creation of the ‘Electric Tiger’, a sultry character who roams the streets after dark, disappearing from view as speedily as he is spotted, leaving viewers to do a double take. The commercial’s urban jungle night screens were filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, with the CGI tiger added in post-production.

The 40 seconds ads will air for the first time today at approximately 9.45pm, after the final whistle of the Sunderland and Everton game broadcast on Sky Sports 1. The ad will also appear on a selection of Sky Channels as well as in cinemas and digital 6 sheets.

Following the launch campaign the ads will feature in varying formats including 30 seconds and 20 seconds versions for TV and 40 seconds for cinema, 10 seconds bumpers on the Discovery Channels as well as 5 seconds and 10 seconds digital 6 sheets.

Coral Vegas is the bookmaker’s new dedicated gaming app, offering a handpicked selection of the best games from Coral Casino and Coral’s shops as well as live dealers, roulette and blackjack all designed to provide users with the excitement and colour of Las Vegas in the palm of their hands

A strong pipeline of new games will also be regularly available, including exclusive slots designed and produced by Coral’s in house team. Speed and simplicity are at the heart of the app, which can be accessed with Touch ID, quick loading screens and all promoted through a clear layout.

In addition to the market leading attributes of the app, Coral offers players the flexibility to play and cash out wherever they want by using Coral’s multi-channel Connect card - a benefit that is unique to Coral. It’s a single wallet card that can be used across all channels, including gaming machines and over the counter in any of Coral’s 1875 shops. Using contactless technology and a PIN number, the card allows faster and more flexible access to cash - play online and collect your winnings in a Coral shop.

“This stylish new TV ad, featuring the elusive ‘Electric Tiger’ illustrates the app’s slick design and performance. Coral Vegas will be our primary casino product on mobile, offering the best and most popular games from our online and retail catalogues as well as a constant pipeline of new and exclusive games developed by our in-house studio,” Paul Corson, head of advertising for Coral said.
