The Swedish supplier will now be able to supply its content to all online channels for gaming operators in the country’s recently regulated market.
The move to acquire a gaming license in Romania followed significant demand for Play’n GO’s content from customers based in the eastern European country.
Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO, said: “This is a landmark day for the company and we are delighted to have been awarded a gaming license for Romania, a growing market that we have had our eyes on for some time.
“We have a long line of parties interested in our premium, best-in-class content and we can’t wait to see the joy on Romanian player’s faces as they interact with our games for the first time.”
