The deal will see E-service acquire the service tools and parts to support the analogue machines still in operation across the UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Spain. It include the Barcrest, Red and Vivid brands for Horizon, Genesis and Rio cabinets, and is part of Barcrest’s strategy to focus on digital gaming as announced earlier this year.
Barcrest’s after-sales team will now be dedicated to supplying spares and technical support for its range of digital products, which include Triple 7, Triple 7 Encore and Interplay.
Chris Sullivan, Managing Director of Barcrest and Games Media’s pub, bingo and arcade businesses commented, “Following the decision to focus on our digital server-based supply business, we have reached a point where we can confidently hand over the after-sales of our analogue business to a trusted supplier like E-service.
“We are looking forward to developing even more compelling and creative digital content and terminals for the gaming and leisure industry, whilst providing reliable after-sales services for our digital products.”
Mike Clokie, Managing Director of E-service added, “Our strategy for the last eight years has been to continually put the needs of the operator first, by professionally supporting their service and spares needs.
“We are confident that Barcrest’s analogue clients will appreciate the efficiency and benefits that our customer-focused approach brings them.”
E-service currently offers weekly UK van service for free collection and delivery of spares and repairs, as well as a dedicated website for 24x7 support and service.
