Casino Gran Madrid launches online with Playtech
Casino Gran Madrid is one of the largest land-based gaming operators in Europe and Playtech signed an agreement in 2009 to supply the planned site with a range of market-leading online casino and poker products through its iPoker Network.
“Our agreement with Playtech strengthens Casino Gran Madrid's leading position in the Spanish casino market,” Jorge Casanova, Information Systems Director for Casino Gran Madrid, said at that time. “With our casino brand and games available online, we are delighted to be leading gaming development in Spain through Playtech's innovative, secure and transparent system.”
The land-based casino hosted the final of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour earlier this year and its online offering now features games of poker, roulette and blackjack for Madrid residents over the age of 18.
