How did you see the show this year? Which is the final balance you can make about Ainsworth's presence in G2E Asia this year?
I am personally disappointed with the number of customers that attended the show again this year. AGT like many others put a lot of effort into this show and I would like to see it supported better. In saying that all the customers that did attend were extremely happy to be able to see our latest machines plus the exciting range of games.
Recent statistic numbers state that Macau is currently the biggest gaming market in the world. Do you agree? How do you see Macau's market? Do you think there is still place to growth?
Macau is unique surround by a country that has the largest population in the world. Tables are the first choice of gaming and for AGT Machine Manufacturer things may be a little different. For example there is about 13500 machines in Macau compare to North America has over 750,000. As Macau grows so will the machine numbers, and I would expect the market to expand but growth in Macau will depend on other regions or even mainland China’s view on introducing gaming.
With operations worldwide and presence in all the international markets, how important is Asia in general and Macau in particular for Ainsworth?
AGT has a plan to ramp up our prences in Macau and the rest of Asia. The plan is based on developing a product line design for the region similar to what we have done in Australia and the US.
