If in the first semestre of the year the collection had decreased a 20%, the latest information indicates that the decrease by the end of September was of 25%.

The current situation of economic crisis that the hospitality sector is facing, and the effect in the decrease of the spending allowance of consumers, are two factors that clearly contribute to the negative results that the sector is having in the sector of recreational machines.

The current fiscal pressure is clearly unsustainable and many operating companies are being forced to deregister a very important number of machines due to the impossibility of
paying the corresponding gaming fee.

Due to this situation, FAMAR considers that it is necessary to take urgent measures to avoid a serious crisis in the sector and insists in the need of the different Autonomous Communities to consider in their budgets for 2010 and 2011 the application of a 25 % reduction of the current gaming fee for type-B machines.
