What did Bally present in ELA?
In this show we presented the best machines we have so far. We have the video machine called B32 and CineVision, among others.
Which has been the feedback of the public?
Very good, although the Mexican market is small, and a few groups have a big market share. However, we see that it is growing year after year.
What type of machines do you market in Mexico?
We commercialize bingo games, called Class II out of Mexico. In the country it really does not exist in the terms of Class III, that’s why we have bingo machines. But we also have the system we are presenting; we are the biggest system provider in Mexico and worldwide, too.
Which is the importance of this market for Bally in Latin America?
It is really very important. We are here from the beginning, since 2005, we are with the best providers of the country and the market grows year after year. We have a very strong infraestructure in Mexico to support our clients. The Mexican market is really very important for us. We are very happy to see how things are going here.
What do you think it may happen if the new gaming law is approved?
Customers are they one that will benefit the most, the players, because other important international providers will come. Bally will be able to commercialize other types of machines we have in other countries, that we cannot offer in Mexico so far. Then, the whole market will be more and more competitive, and the best companies with the best products will be the most successful.
Do you think there is a will for this new law to be approved?
Yes, I think so, everyone want. But it is something that takes time. In the Latin market, we are accustomed to see that things do not normally happen as fast as we wish. I think most of the people want these changes and that’s why it will happen, but the question is now if it will happen in a month or in a year.
