Plans to build a casino on the Norfolk coast given the go-ahead

This is one of three separate proposals for a casino in Great Yarmouth and only one will receive a government license. Pleasure and Leisure Corporation - which owns the town’s Pleasure Beach - said earlier that its development, called The Edge, could create 1,000 jobs.

Pleasure and Leisure’s plans would see the complete redevelopment of a derelict former caravan holiday park south of the Pleasure Beach.
