CAP Euro London is the affiliate marketing directory’s flagship conference and took place last weekend at the Novotel London hotel. In addition to CAP’s own brand of business networking, online marketing speaker sessions and after-hours socializing, it began with the second annual CAP Awards. These celebrated the most successful and innovative members of the worldwide iGaming affiliate industry as voted on by the sector.
“With more than 1,600 people in attendance, almost double last year’s turnout, the latest CAP Euro London was our biggest and most successful event yet,” said Alex Pratt, an organizer for the event. “Even more importantly, these numbers make this not only the biggest affiliate conference ever to be held in Europe but also the biggest iGaming affiliate event of all time.
“And so far the feedback has been excellent. We’ve been receiving rave reviews about everything from the speakers and discussion panels, to the venue and parties.”
“We couldn’t be prouder to report our most successful affiliate conference yet, especially in light of a number of international threats to our industry as represented by UIGEA and other similar legislation,” said Lou Fabiano, President for CAP. “This was a very positive, even historic, moment for our industry, bringing the affiliate community together in larger-than-ever numbers.”
The next scheduled event from CAP will be the popular CAP Spring Break, being held in Cancun, Mexico, from March 21 to 28 followed by the all-new CAP Euro Amsterdam conference scheduled for April 30 to May 3. The Amsterdam event was planned in partnership with Affiliates4u’s upcoming Amsterdam Expo and organizers stated that more than 2,000 people could attend.
