Michael Wojciechowski, Technical Compliance Officer Research and Development from Aristocrat discussed emerging technologies; IGT Director of Regulatory Development Daniel McCoy presented server-based gaming; and Kimberly Stein, V.P and Corporate General Counsel from Sona Mobile discussed mobile gaming, including cell phone and hand-held devices.
GLI gave three seminars: the first on “gray” amusement/skill games, the second on compliance issues, and a third on electronic pull-tabs.
GLI Development Representative and Training Coordinator Mike Capen said, “Our clients tell us that our roundtable series is extremely important to them. We held our annual North American Roundtable earlier this year, and there were Canadian regulators who were not able to attend. So we staged this event to give them a chance to hear the information, and to get the very latest information available.”
Next up for GLI is the Global Gaming Expo this November, where GLI team members will appear on five panels. GLI’s 8th annual North American Regulators Roundtable is slated for March 2009 in Las Vegas.
