Produced in partnership with the University of Macau and the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) Singapore campus, the G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program will be offered as a one-day training workshop on June 3, 2008, at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at the Venetian Macao in conjunction with G2E Asia 2008, which is scheduled for June 3-5.

“The gaming industry in Macau is booming and there is a need for educated supervisors and managers,” said Andy Nazarechuk, dean of the UNLV's Singapore campus. “The University of Macau and UNLV Singapore have joined forces to create a high-quality professional development program specifically geared for gaming supervisors and managers who want to upgrade their management skills to position themselves for future career advancement.”

The G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program will offer expert-led workshops specifically designed to address the subjects and trends that are most crucial to success in today's competitive gaming marketplace.

Gaming professionals who participate in the program will learn how to increase customer service, develop leadership skills, enhance employee satisfaction, create casino marketing plans, understand the importance of responsible gaming programs and more. The one-day event also will include networking opportunities and a keynote luncheon.

“This program will help casino managers enhance their global perspective of the gaming industry and understand how to provide Asian customers with the high-quality service they have come to expect,” said Dr. Ricardo Siu, gaming management coordinator for the University of Macau. “The G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program will give gaming managers the tools to be successful in this highly competitive market.”

Enrollment for the G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program is limited in order to provide attendees with an interactive and intimate learning environment. Gaming professionals who attend the program will receive an official certificate of completion from G2E Asia, the University of Macau and UNLV Singapore.
