Camelot look to reverse flagging sales

(UK).- Following news that it has won the third National Lottery Licence, Camelot has vowed to tackle flagging sales over the next decade with a series of new initiatives.

Camelot will launch digital screens in shops, a Player Card which stores players’ numbers and preferences and ’Fast Pay’ which allows shoppers to buy tickets at retail checkouts rather than queuing at ticket booths.

In a bid to lure young adults, the company is also mooting the possibility of launching online “lifestyle games” which award non-cash prizes such as meeting celebrities and adventure holidays.

Camelot also plans to launch a “World Lottery Draw” which would link numbers around the world and create up to 100 millionaires per draw alongside an annual us$ 505 million Superdraw.
