Kalshi has announced an official sponsorship agreement with the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino, the governing body of Argentina's national football team, for the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Under the deal, Kalshi will serve as an official sponsor of Argentina’s football federation during the tournament period, with co-branded marketing, social media campaigns, and use of Argentina national team branding.
Both organizations framed the collaboration as a meeting of high-performing institutions. Argentina enters the 2026 tournament as defending champion and three-time World Cup winner, while Kalshi describes itself as the largest prediction market globally, holding a dominant share of the U.S. market.
"Argentina is the standard of excellence in world football. That's exactly who Kalshi belongs alongside. We're building the future of how people engage with live events, and partnering with the reigning champions of the beautiful game is the clearest signal we can send about where we're headed," Adam Barrick, Head of Sports Partnerships, Kalshi.
As part of the deal, AFA’s official data and streaming partner, Genius Sports, will supply official match data to support the creation and settlement of sports-related prediction market contracts. The use of verified data is intended to improve accuracy, transparency, and consistency in market outcomes while reducing reliance on unofficial sources.
Kalshi will also take part in Genius Sports’ integrity information-sharing systems, aimed at enhancing transparency and giving sports organizations greater visibility into trading activity tied to live events.
"Kalshi is a leader in its category, and their decision to partner with AFA is a testament to the global strength our brand has built since 2017. Each new alliance of this caliber reinforces that the path we charted for AFA's international expansion is the right one, and that the world's leading organizations want to be part of it," Leandro Petersen, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer, Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA).
The partnership was announced just ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which is being hosted in the United States, Mexico, and Canada—marking the first time in 32 years the tournament is held on American soil.
