Lazio has secured a new front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with prediction market company Polymarket, ending its long search for a main jersey partner.

The agreement, which was announced ahead of Lazio’s Serie A match against Napoli on Saturday (April 18), sees Polymarket become the club’s primary front-of-shirt sponsor through the 2027–28 season, with an option to extend for an additional yearSportcal reported.

The multi-year deal is valued at more than $22 million, with additional performance-related bonuses and activation incentives included. Polymarket’s branding made its debut on Lazio’s match kit during the Napoli fixture.

The partnership also grants Polymarket status as Lazio’s official fan intelligence and digital insights partner, with both parties expected to collaborate on data-driven fan engagement, predictive analysis, and digital content initiatives.

Due to Polymarket not holding an online gaming license (ADM) in Italy, the partnership will focus on the company’s informational and analytical services rather than any trading functions.

While the platform remains accessible in Italy, its core trading features are restricted, allowing users only to view informational content. Similar limitations apply in several other countries, including France, Switzerland, and Australia.

Lazio confirmed the agreement is “in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.”

The deal provides a significant commercial boost for Lazio, which has been without a front-of-shirt sponsor since its previous agreement with Binance expired after the 2022–23 season.

Polymarket joins a broader portfolio of Lazio commercial partners, including Mizuno (technical sponsor), Aeroitalia (airline partner), TIM (telecommunications partner), and Enel (energy partner).

This agreement strengthens Lazio’s path of international development and confirms the club’s desire to position itself as an increasingly modern, open, and competitive entity in the new landscape of global sport,” said Lazio President Claudio Lotito.

The Lazio deal adds to Polymarket’s growing footprint in sports sponsorship. The company recently expanded into European football through a partnership with Spain’s LaLiga in North America.

Polymarket also maintains partnerships across multiple major sports organizations, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), UFC, Major League Soccer (MLS), and streaming platform DAZN.
