Saracen Casino CFO Jim Burns dies in golf cart accident in California

James “Jim” Burns, 58, a business executive and chief financial officer of Saracen Casino and Resort, has died following a golf cart accident at Pine Bluff Country Club in California.
The golf cart reportedly overturned while Burns was riding in it, according to Deltaplex News. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Friday morning.
Details about the circumstances of the accident remain limited. As per an ABC 7 report, the incident occurred on Thursday, January 8.
Burns’ colleagues and community members have expressed their condolences, remembering him for his professional contributions and leadership.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Burns had been with Saracen since October 2020.
