Eureka Casino Resort opens Onyx Lounge in $100 million property transformation

Eureka Casino Resort in Mesquite, Nevada, has opened the Onyx Lounge, an exclusive new space for its top-tier Gold Club members. 

The debut marks the latest milestone in Eureka's $100 million property-wide remodel, which includes the reimagined Gregory's Mesquite Grill, a fully renovated ballroom, and major upgrades across the hotel and casino.

Located just off the gaming floor, the Onyx Lounge serves guests who have reached the Onyx tier, the highest level in Eureka's Gold Club loyalty program. The space was designed as a quiet, elevated retreat. Its contemporary look features polished dark wood, gold accents, and a glowing onyx backsplash. 

The space features plush seating, a sleek linear fireplace, and a dramatic glass-drop chandelier, creating "a warm, private atmosphere." Guests can enjoy a daily selection of bespoke bites, a full coffee station, assorted beverages, and a well-stocked bar.

CEO Andre Carrier said the lounge reflects the direction of the resort's broader reinvestment, which extends beyond property improvements to a long-term commitment to its guests, employee-owners, and the entire Mesquite community.

"We're building a more refined and comfortable resort experience, and the Onyx Lounge is a great example of that," Carrier said. "Our most loyal guests deserve a space where they can relax, recharge, and feel appreciated. As we continue this $100 million transformation, our focus stays on creating places and moments that feel special."

The Onyx Lounge follows several recent improvements at the property. Gregory's Mesquite Grill reopened last year after a major expansion and redesign, adding new dining rooms, a classic Parlour Bar, and an updated menu. The resort's ballroom was also remodeled and now hosts everything from wine dinners and celebrity meet and greets to community events.

Eureka's multi-phase project includes a full remodel of the casino floor, a refresh of all hotel rooms, plus an updated exterior design.

Located 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Eureka Casino Resort features 214 guest rooms, a casino with various dining and gaming options, including slots, video poker, table games, and the largest sportsbook in Mesquite.
