Mohegan Sun Arena has been named No. 1 Best Casino Concert Venue in Newsweek’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, while Mohegan, the parent company of Mohegan Sun, has also been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best-in-State Companies for 2026.
The 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena was selected following a four-week voting period by Newsweek readers and industry experts. The venue hosts more than 125 concerts and sporting events annually and is widely regarded as a top destination for live entertainment.
In addition to the top ranking, Mohegan Sun placed No. 2 for Best Native American Casino and No. 2 for Best Casino Players Club for its Momentum program in the Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards.
“Earning the #1 spot for “Best Casino Concert Venue” and ranking near the top in two other categories is an incredible honor for Mohegan Sun,” said Jeff Hamilton, President & GM. “These recognitions, along with being named to Forbes Best-in-State Companies for 2026, reflect the dedication of our team and inspire us to keep delivering world-class experiences for our guests.”
Mohegan Sun Arena regularly hosts major touring acts, including Justin Timberlake, Megan Moroney, Matt Rife, Sting, RUSH, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, and Eric Clapton. In September, Adam Sandler performed back-to-back sold-out shows at the arena and was inducted into the Mohegan Sun Arena Walk of Fame, joining artists such as Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw, and Taylor Swift. Portions of Sandler’s performances were also filmed for a special episode of Netflix’s My Next Guest with David Letterman.
Mohegan’s inclusion on Forbes’ Best-in-State Companies for 2026 follows an evaluation of more than 50,000 companies nationwide, based on financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and growth.
Upcoming concerts at Mohegan Sun Arena include Meghan Trainor on July 4, 2026, 5 Seconds of Summer on May 29, 2026, and Chris Stapleton for back-to-back shows beginning February 27.
