SiGMA Group was named SME of the Year (26–250 employees) at the fourth Malta Business Awards on Friday, marking a milestone for the Maltese-founded brand that has grown into a major international player in the tech and gaming events sector.

The award, presented at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, recognises small and medium-sized enterprises that have excelled in growth, innovation, digitalisation, sustainability, and work-life balance. SiGMA emerged as the winner from a three-shortlist that included AquaBioTech Group and 4JM Solutions.

It’s a great honour. We started in Malta, and we will always be in Malta. It’s a success story and I hope it inspires others to follow through,” said Eman Pulis, founder of SiGMA Group, following the announcement.

Organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs and Malta Enterprise, the Malta Business Awards are regarded as the country’s largest business event, celebrating excellence in innovation, wellbeing, and sustainability across multiple sectors.

Across 2024 and 2025, SiGMA summits attracted more than 131,500 delegates worldwide, hosting major conferences in Dubai, São Paulo, Manila, Cape Town, Rome, and Valletta. The company’s Euro-Med Summit in Malta has become one of the country’s most prominent business fixtures.

Just before the awards, SiGMA wrapped up its Central Europe Summit in Rome (Nov. 3–6, 2025), which drew over 30,000 participants, including policymakers, investors, and innovators.

In addition to its headline win, SiGMA also received the Silver Award for Social Impact (26+ Employees) for its community initiatives led by the SiGMA Foundation, which supports education and inclusion projects around the world.

For SiGMA, the silver recognition was described as proof that “growth and generosity can go hand in hand.” The top award in the Social Impact category went to MaltaPost, with Scope also among the finalists.

The Malta Business Awards recognised excellence across multiple sectors. Other winners included MAPFRE for Exceptional Wellbeing at the Workplace, Brillace Cafe for Customer Service Excellence, Filament Corporation Ltd. (FilaCorp) for Innovative & Sustainable Initiative, among others.
