GGPoker enters Danish market through Danske Spil partnership

Through a new agreement with Danske Licens Spil, GGPoker will introduce its suite of online poker offerings to Danish players.

The deal follows GGPoker’s receipt of a supplier license from the Danish Gambling Authority, allowing full platform integration under Danske Spil’s management.

Under the operation of Danske Spil, Danish players will have access to GGPoker’s online poker offerings within the existing Danske Spil Poker environment. The partnership will connect local users to GGPoker’s international player network, enabling participation in its large-scale tournaments, including the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online gold bracelet series and live WSOP satellite events.

The collaboration will also make available various poker formats and cash games, including GGPoker’s proprietary systems such as Rush & Cash, All-In or Fold, Spin & Gold, PokerCraft, and Smart HUD.

Through the new partnership, Danish players will be able to compete in GGPoker’s major tournaments, including the GGPoker World Festival, WSOP Online, and the weekly GGMasters series. They will also have opportunities to qualify for live WSOP festivals and win seats and travel packages to poker events through the WSOP Express satellite tournaments.

GGPoker operates a global online poker platform that includes a range of proprietary and patented game formats, such as Rush & Cash poker, All-In or Fold, Flip & Go, Spin & Gold, Mystery Battle Royale, GGCare & GGCheers, integrated staking, SnapCam video messaging, PokerCraft, and Smart HUD.

The company became the world’s largest online poker room in 2022. As an exclusive partner of the World Series of Poker, GGPoker annually provides thousands of players with entry to the WSOP $10K Main Event in Las Vegas and the $25K WSOP Paradise Main Event in the Bahamas. Danske Licens Spil operates within Denmark’s regulated gambling market, offering sports betting, casino games, and Danske Spil Poker. It is a subsidiary of Danske Spil, the country’s national lottery operator, which is majority-owned by the Danish state.
