Station Casino will reopen the poker room at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson later this year as part of a $200 million renovation. The casino is located within the vibrant Green Valley community, an area of town about 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

The 23-year-old resort is updating rooms, suites, and convention facilities, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The poker room will return to its original location, steps from the sportsbook, with 16 new tables and chairs, nearly twice the size of its pre-pandemic state.

A reopening date has not been announced, other than "late 2025," but a tournament and giveaways are planned. The casino closed its poker room in 2020 during the COVID pandemic, replacing it with a smoke-free slot machine area.

The updated poker room will be open 24/7, the only such card room in Henderson. Green Valley Ranch's poker room is expected to offer mostly low-stakes games, according to Poker News, much like players came to expect before the room closed in 2020.

Station Casinos operates three other poker rooms. One is located at Boulder Station east of the Strip, one at Red Rock in Summerlin west of the Strip, and the third at Santa Fe Station, in the northwest area of town.
