Play'n GO adds new features and mechanics in Fire Toad sequel

Play’n GO has launched Fire Toad 2, its latest online slot, in which the addition of Inferno Spins takes center stage. The game serves as a sequel to the 2021 fan-favourite slot, bringing to the table updated mechanics, features, and visuals.

The five-reel slot features a structure of 1,024 payways while introducing evolved mechanics around symbol interaction. Shifting symbols, splitting icons, and a layered upgrade system are designed to provide multiple play variations.

The sequel introduces the Inferno Spins mechanic, described by the provider as" a final burst of action where locked Toads on glowing Golden Lilypads can split for a dramatic finale."

Meanwhile, the Toad Upgrade feature triggers when two Scatters appear during the base game, upgrading symbols mid-spin to adjust potential outcomes.

Fire Toad 2 also introduces two Free Spins modes. Players can opt for a longer upgrade sequence with more spins or start with fully evolved toads and fewer spins. Reel three remains active with Golden Lilypads in either option, adding consistency to symbol combinations.
