MGM Resorts International and BetMGM will expand responsible gaming messaging at National Football League stadiums this season as part of a broader campaign tied to Responsible Gaming Education Month in September.
For the third consecutive year, GameSense messaging will appear on LED ribbons in NFL venues, with Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, added for 2025. For the first time, responsible gaming content will also be displayed on stadium scoreboards during pre-game activities and in gameday magazines.
The campaign will cover 10 stadiums: Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers), Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders), Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos), Ford Field (Detroit Lions), GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia Eagles), M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens), MetLife Stadium (New York Jets), Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans), and State Farm Stadium (Arizona Cardinals).
"Placing GameSense in league stadiums gives us direct access to millions of fans each week," said Rhea Loney, Chief Compliance Officer at BetMGM. "It's a powerful platform to promote public awareness and amplify our company's commitment to provide a safe and informed gambling experience."
GameSense, developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and licensed to MGM Resorts in 2017, promotes proactive engagement with guests on how to gamble responsibly. The program will also be featured across MGM’s digital platforms, retail sportsbooks, Las Vegas marquees, awnd the MGM Grand Live Dealer studio during September.
MGM Resorts has now certified more than 1,900 employees as GameSense Advisors, while BetMGM continues to partner with EPIC Global Solutions for lived-experience training.
Alongside the campaign, MGM Resorts announced a $250,000 contribution to the International Center for Responsible Gaming to fund independent, peer-reviewed research on casino employee support and player protection.
"Investing in our team members through extensive training and scientific research sets higher operational standards and elevates the guest experience," said Stephen Martino, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at MGM Resorts. "It also supports the long-term sustainability of our business and the communities where we operate."
The initiative builds on MGM Resorts’ and BetMGM’s support of the American Gaming Association’s “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly.” public service campaign, which encourages safe wagering and the use of licensed operators.
"Collaboration plays a vital role in enhancing responsible gaming outcomes," said Joe Maloney, Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications at the AGA. "We're proud to partner with MGM Resorts and BetMGM and see firsthand how these efforts are making a meaningful difference."
