MelBet becomes Principal Partner of СPL 2024 champion Saint Lucia Kings

International operator Melbet became the Principal Partner of the St. Lucia Kings cricket team, St. Lucia, competing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

"MelBet is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the 2024 СPL champions, Saint Lucia Kings!" the company stated in a press release, in which it also highlighted that it is supporting the team on their journey to defend their title during the upcoming season. It also stated that both the platform and the team share the same belief: "perseverance and tenacity make champions."

As part of the partnership, MelBet will become an integral part of the St. Lucia Kings team, "supporting players and fans on their way to victory."

The Saint Lucia Kings team was founded in 2013 and has since become known for its strong lineup, which blends local talent with international stars; seasoned veterans and promising newcomers. Over the years, the team has been proud to feature cricketing greats such as Faf du Plessis, Andre Fletcher, and Roston Chase.

The team’s new coach, Darren Sammy, is also celebrated as one of the best all-rounders in cricket history. His leadership both within the team and on the international stage has earned him widespread recognition. As captain of the West Indies, he led his team to victory in the 2016 ICC T20 World Cup.
